Angus young carers had a wonderful evening doing art with Tamar on Tuesday 29th of September.
The art packs got sent out to the young carers support workers, who delivered them individually to all 17 participants.
The first session from 6 - 7pm was for the 8-12 year old group, and the second class from 7:30 until 8:30 was for ages 12-16.
The children and young adults were very curious, so Tamar had plenty of questions to answer. The classes were very well structured; peppered with fun, calmness and individual expressionism.
Tamar is an amazing teacher who has valuable experience and such a calm nature.
The young carers support worker Angela said the kids were delighted, they all thought it was amazing! Also, there had never been such a big turnout for any class in the three years she had been there.
They would like to continue doing more art with Tamar, so we are in the process of arranging it all.
Thank you very much to Tamar, the support workers and all the Young Carers for making this such a unique, beautiful and relaxing evening.
